What’s New In 1.05
The latest version includes 15 “Tweet This” buttons I had previously released on my blog but which have now been fully integrated into the VLM for ease of use.
The long-awaited “lost password” feature is also included in this release which means that if a user has forgotten his password he can now just use the “Forgotten your password?” link in the login form to have a new password created for him automatically and sent via email to the address used for logging in.
For all other changes please see the list below. I’m now focusing mostly on the development of the ViralListMachine Pro which will contain lots of new features you’ve been asking for so updates to version 1 are unlikely unless bug related.
Bug Fixes
- When choosing a table prefix that was a shorter version of a table prefix used in another VLM installation using the same MySQL database setup detected those tables as the same tables which they weren’t.

- You can now reclaim tables of a previous installation during the setup process so if you have deleted the completed installation without touching the database and you reinstall the latest version you can reuse the tables the old version has used.
- Includes additional “Tweet This” graphics in the assets directory.

Removing The Powered By Link
Please note that I have now set a fixed price of $25 for being allowed to remove the “Powered by” link from the software. I’d like to spread the word regarding the VLM virally so removing a link that might refer a new user is not something I’d like to see (that’s why it’s not allowed in the license) but I understand that some of you want to have no distractions on your signup pages that’s why I decided to allow the removal of the link for a fixed price. If you’ve already paid a smaller amount before you don’t need to pay the difference of course. Be happy

When you get a chance, can you make a list of features you’re thinking about putting in the pro version?
I’d like to suggest the ability to manually delete users in the pro version.
Is there a way to delete users in 1.05 right now?
If there is no option in the admin panel it’s not possible, right?
Of course it will be available in the PRO version.
Why would I assume it’s not possible if there is a drop down list in the User List panel that says “Show deleted users”
I have found 2 additional issues with the software:
1. At some point the HTML editor will not scroll all the way down to the end of the code in the text mode. I was trying to embed a video and it would not allow me to scroll down to end of the text.
2. The software is not compatable with Easy Video Player code, which a lot of internet marketrs are using. It is cutting off code entered in the text mode after saving and not allowing me to embed videos. If you would like to look at the code, please email me.
Easy Video Player utilizes the Flow Player.
Which browser are you using? Have you tried using Firefox?
One thing I’m not too hot on that you don’t offer is giving the user the REFERRAL link right after they signup on the thank you page.

I am having a few troubles setting it up I was wondering if you could help me out. I followed everything to the best of my ability and when i tested it and tryied to optin i got this message:
“A server error occured. Please try again later.
Got error code 0 from server.”

@Sam: I just sent you an email which hopefully fixes the problem.
This is a great scrip but i have some problems.
I install and everything works except the user is still in pending even if i confirm the aweber email.
I have no idea what i miss.

@Marius: After clicking on the AWeber confirmation mail are you redirected to the ViralListMachine page and does it show an error? If you’re not redirected you maybe haven’t sent the redirect URL correctly. If it doesn’t show an error that is very weird.

@Marius: Just as shown in the video you need to redirect the user to http://www.mysite.com/list/confirmed.php and pass the parameters through AWeber.
I set up on amember Success Page What page of your website do you want to send people when they confirm? Confirmation Success Page URL:http://www.mywebsite.com/list/confirmed.php buts still dont work.
If you can help me to make everything to work i donate 50USD on paypal you can hide this or dont make it pubilc.

I just find what was the problem
On Aweber on list Setings at Confirmed Opt In page
Under Success Page just check Pass subscriber info (for personalizing this page.)
And now works.
I will like to test also with mailchimp.com

I am using Firefox and your wysiwyg editor is still cutting off Easy Video Player script and won’t let me embed the EVP player. I belief some of it is javascript. I’m going to email you to find out why this is happening.
